ELEMENTS THAT CAN BE INCLUDED IN YOUR
ANNUAL PRODUCTION INSURANCE PACKAGE.
PRODUCTION PROPERTY INSURANCE
The production insurance will pay the value of:
• Props, Sets & Wardrobe
• Production Equipment
• Library Stock
Owned, held in trust or to be used by you in a production that is lost, damaged or destroyed during that Production.
The production insurance will also pay the continuing hire charges that you are legally responsible for in respect of props, sets & wardrobe and production Equipment up to a maximum of 13 weeks.
EXTRA EXPENSES PRODUCTION INSURANCE
The insurance will pay for the interruption of the production, postponement of the production or cancellation of the production consequent upon physical loss of or damage to or destruction of property or facilities used by the insured for that production.
The production insurance will also cover verifiable structured or mechanical defect or breakdown, short-circuiting or other electrical injury, failure or disturbance of.
Production portable generators, cameras, lighting, sound and grip equipment. Provided the above has been fully tested prior to being used on the production.
THIRD PARTY COSTS
The production insurance can also afford cover for production costs not in your original budget but for which you may become responsible for in the case of a re-shoot. This might include such costs as model / talent fees, advertising agency costs and your client costs etc.
The production insurance will indemnify you for damages and related claims that you become legally liable to pay in respect of bodily injury sustained by an employee arising out of and in the course of their employment by you and caused by an occurrence in connection with your business.
The production insurance will indemnify you for damages on related costs that you become legally liable to pay in respect of bodily injury, property damage or nuisance caused by an occurrence in connection with your business.
PRODUCTION MEDIA INSURANCE
The insurance covers the Production for the re-shoot / production costs following physical loss of, damage to, or destruction of Production Media by any cause.
The insurance also covers the reshoot / productions costs in respect of faulty Production Media, fogging, faulty cameras / recording equipment, faulty developing, editing or processing including from faulty computer software programmes. The Insurance also covers the reshoot / production costs in respect of accidental erasure of recordings from digital media or soundtrack, accidental exposure to light of raw / exposed film and accidental corruption of the images and sound data held on digital media.
This insures the production for the re-shoot / production costs should an insured person be necessarily prevented by their death, injury or illness, commencing the production, continuing the production or completing the production and their duties and performance in that production.
The production insurance will also cover the bereavement of an immediate family member of an Insured person who is essential to the Production.
Production insurance continues until a protection print has been completed or thirty (30) days after the completion of post-production during which a protection print should have been made.
PROPERTY OF OTHERS
The production insurance will indemnify you up to an agreed amount for costs you become legally liable to pay in respect of loss, damage or destruction of property of others in your care, custody and control in the course of a production.

The policy is designed to protect against any errors & omissions that may be made, but also includes extensions that are very important for creative professionals, such as breach of Infringement of intellectual property rights including copyright infringement, or any misappropriation of musical compositions, graphic material, or artwork.
