Equipment insurance: own and hired
For production companies we provide an 'all risks equipment insurance' via our scheme with the market leading Film & Entertainment Insurers. Our policy includes cover for accidental damage as well as theft, loss and other perils. The policy provides “new for old cover”. Providing you keep the sums insured up to date you will be supplied with new kit. We can also cover any additional ‘hired equipment’.
Our insurance includes worldwide cover as standard and 24 hour cover for theft from unattended vehicles if you are on a shoot, or travelling to and from a shoot. Our policy includes 13 weeks loss of hire should you lose or damage hired equipment.

Owned, held in trust or to be used by you in a production that is lost, damaged or destroyed during that production.
The production insurance will also pay the continuing hire charges that you are legally responsible for in respect of Props, Sets & Wardrobe and Production Equipment up to a maximum of 13 weeks.
Property of others
The production insurance will indemnify you up to an agreed amount for costs you become legally liable to pay in respect of loss, damage or destruction of property of others in your care, custody and control in the course of a production.
Employer liability
The production insurance will indemnify you for damages and related claims that you become legally liable to pay in respect of bodily injury sustained by an employee arising out of and in the course of their employment by you and caused by an occurrence in connection with your business.
Public liability
The production insurance will indemnify you for damages on related costs that you become legally liable to pay in respect of bodily injury, property damage or nuisance caused by an occurrence in connection with your business.
Professional indemnity
We provide specialist Professional Indemnity insurance for creative professionals with Hiscox Insurance Company, a leading UK media and creative insurer. The policy is designed to protect against any errors & omissions that may be made, but also includes extensions that are very important for creative professionals, such as breach of intellectual property rights including copyright infringement, or any misappropriation of musical compositions, graphic material, or artwork.
